Find the exact moment across recordings.
Your organization's recordings are institutional knowledge. VidSearch makes them searchable, correctable, and findable — for your whole team.
Semantic search
Find what you mean, not just what you said
Make your archive searchable, correctable, and findable.
Three ways to search
Text, semantic, and best-match hybrid — plus eight operators including speaker, tag, date, and language.
Speaker-aware search
Automatic speaker detection, rename labels to real names, and filter by individual voice across your entire archive.
Domain glossary
Teach VidSearch your organization's vocabulary. Preferred terms and misrecognitions are corrected automatically in every new transcript.
Suggest, edit, and verify
Viewers propose corrections without edit access. Editors apply or deny them with a note. Verified segments are marked and tracked — every decision preserved.
Roles and restricted access
Four roles from viewer to owner, plus collections that can be hidden or locked to specific members.
Public share links
Share any collection publicly with configurable search. Share individual segments as branded quote cards on social media.
Export
Export transcripts as SRT, plain text, formatted DOCX, or a full collection ZIP — with optional timestamps and speaker labels.
Analytics
Track verification progress, search activity, and per-member contributions across your organization in the analytics dashboard.
How it works
Upload
Upload your video or audio files and organize them into collections. Set a transcription language, enable speaker diarization, and configure your domain glossary before the first batch runs.
Transcribe and index
VidSearch transcribes each recording in parallel, detects and labels speakers, applies your glossary, and indexes every segment for both text and semantic search.
Search, correct, and share
Search by meaning, keyword, or speaker. Correct transcripts to improve accuracy over time. Share collections publicly, export in any format, or restrict access to specific members.
Simple, usage-based pricing
Frequently asked questions
Semantic search converts your query into a meaning vector and compares it against indexed transcript segments. Results match the idea, not just the words — so a query about "trade barriers between member states" can surface a passage about "tariff obstacles facing WTO signatories" even if none of your search words appear. Results are labeled so you always know when a match is semantic.
Speaker diarization automatically detects when speakers change in a recording and assigns each segment a label. You rename those labels to real names, and then filter searches by individual speaker — for example, speaker:"Dr. Tedros" returns only segments where that person is speaking, across your entire archive.
A glossary is a list of terms specific to your organization — acronyms, proper nouns, program names, technical vocabulary — that AI transcription models commonly get wrong. You define the preferred form and its known misrecognitions; VidSearch automatically corrects them in new transcripts and lets you bulk-fix existing ones. The more you build it, the more accurately new content is processed.
Access is controlled by role. Owners and admins manage the organization; editors upload and edit transcripts; viewers search and read. Individual collections can also be made restricted — hidden (non-members don't know it exists) or locked (visible but inaccessible) — for sensitive content. Owners always have access to everything.
Yes. Generate a public share link for any collection. Public visitors get a read-only view with configurable search — text only, semantic, or both. You can also share individual transcript segments as branded quote cards on X, LinkedIn, Facebook, or WhatsApp.
SRT (standard subtitle format), plain text, formatted text with optional timestamps and speaker labels, and DOCX with block or table layout and Word bookmarks per segment. You can export a single file or an entire collection as a ZIP archive.
